AI Speaking & Consulting

AI from strategy to implementation to support

Most organizations have AI ideas. Far fewer have AI in daily use. Chris helps leadership teams choose the right first use case, protect their data, and get to production, then keep it running.

The approach

One path, three stages, no hand-offs into the void

Taking a customer from AI strategy all the way to implementation and ongoing support is rare. It is the model Chris built and led at vTECH io.

Strategy

Executive alignment, an honest readiness assessment, and a short list of use cases ranked by ROI, risk, and data sensitivity.

Implementation

A scoped pilot with clear success metrics, secure and on-premises options where needed, and a defined path from pilot to production.

Support

Governance, training, and an operating model so AI keeps delivering after go-live, plus a roadmap for the next use case.

Offerings

City of Daytona Beach: AI for public records, from pilot to production

Chris led the vTECH io team that worked with Iternal Technologies and the City of Daytona Beach to deploy an AI-powered public-records platform on Intel Xeon 6 processors. Intel published the results as a customer case study.

Digital transformation before it had a name

As a first lieutenant at Ogden Air Logistics Center (Air Force Materiel Command), Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Chris saw that Airman’s Manual training still ran on printed manuals and in-person test proctors. On his own initiative, beyond his primary job, he put together a team and built a web-based training and testing site.

80+bases using it by early 2001
40,000+users by early 2002
$5M+printing costs avoided at 100 bases worldwide

The site was named an Air Force-level Best Practice. Featured on Air Force Link, in Air Force magazine and by Air Force public affairs, it removed the need to print the manual and to staff test proctors at every base, and saved the Air Force millions. It’s the same pattern he applies to AI today: replace a manual process everyone has accepted, prove it works, then scale it.

From AI Strategy to Support: What Actually Works in Local Government

Most public agencies have an AI policy, but few have AI in production. This session follows a real deployment: the City of Daytona Beach’s AI-powered public-records platform, built with Iternal Technologies and vTECH io on Intel Xeon 6 processors. Intel’s published case study reports a 78x accuracy improvement and processing of up to 593 pages per minute. Chris walks through choosing a first use case, keeping sensitive data on-premises, procurement and budget realities, the pilot-to-production path, and the support model after go-live. Attendees leave with a practical checklist to take one AI project from approval to daily use.

Go-to-Market in the Age of AI

Almost every technology provider says it “does AI.” Very few have a repeatable way to sell it, deliver it, and get paid for it. Chris shares how the AI solutions practice he led at vTECH io produced $5–6M in AI revenue in its first year. The playbook includes bundling private AI with AI PCs, using vendor and distributor programs (TD SYNNEX Destination AI, Intel, Dell), and moving customers from workshops to funded pilots and then to production. Built for leaders who need pipeline, not hype.

Building an AI-Ready Organization

AI projects rarely fail on technology. They fail on readiness: unclear ownership, messy data, untrained people, and no plan for support. Drawing on 31 years as an Air Force officer and acquisition program manager and his work as an executive at a 2,000-customer IT provider, Chris lays out a practical readiness framework: leadership alignment, data governance, security and on-premises options, workforce upskilling, and the metrics that show value within the first year. Closes with a 90-day action plan any organization can start next quarter.
